FAQ

How does the eBay Pricing Search work?

Enter a player name or card description, then select filters like Rookie, Autograph, Numbered, Parallel, or Graded. The tool builds a targeted eBay search and opens the results page with your filters already applied.

Is the Pricing Search free to use?

Yes, the Pricing Search is completely free for all users. Unlike the AI-powered scanner, it does not count against any usage limits.

What's the difference between the Pricing Search and the AI Price Check?

The AI Price Check uses your camera to scan and automatically identify a card. The Pricing Search is a manual tool where you type a player or card name and pick filters to search eBay.

What does 'Exclude Junk' actually filter out?

This toggle automatically removes common noise from your results, such as digital cards (NFTs), art cards (ACEOs), reprints (RP), and mystery or repack listings that don't represent true individual card market values.

Why do some attribute combinations return fewer results?

eBay limits the complexity of search queries. If you select too many specific attributes (e.g., Numbered + Autograph + Graded + Parallel), the tool automatically switches to Compact Mode to stay within eBay's character limits while still finding the most relevant matches.

Can I search for specific grading companies like PSA or SGC?

Yes. After toggling the Graded attribute, a sub-menu will appear allowing you to filter by PSA, BGS, SGC, or CGC specifically.

Does this tool work for other TCGs like Pokémon or Magic: The Gathering?

While optimized for sports cards (using terms like Rookie and 1st Bowman), the tool works for any collectible. Attributes like Autograph, Numbered, and Graded apply broadly across the entire TCG and hobby market.
